ShekBand played their first solo concert in Kyiv in the Art Space "Dim MK" on April 20, 2019.

 

The Band was awarded an Honorable Mention prize by Taklit Publishing & Production in France at the 4th International Jazz Competition "7 Virtual Jazz Club Contest" in 2019.

 

ShekBand received a special jury prize at the Bucharest International Jazz Competition on May 11-18, 2019 in Bucharest, Romania. ShekBand was the first representative of Ukraine at this prestigious forum and became its youngest participant in the Competition’s history.

ShekBand was a participant in festivals and workshops of Kids Jazz L.E., Leipzig, Germany in 2017 – 2022.

ShekBand is a laureate and winner of the Grand Prix of many prestigious international and national contests and festivals, such as Jazz Fontanas Panevėžys, Odesa Jazz Fest, Leopolis Jazz, Vinnytsia JazzFest, EUROPAfest, Castleknock Music Festival, etc. 

 

 

In 2020-2022 ShekBand has been working on their first album “The Inflatable Ram”. 

The album was mastered on the day before the War but with the support of HGBSBlue Label by Black Forest Records, Germany, and Taklit Editions & Productions Agency, France, it was released on April 29, 2022 and successfully presented in Germany, Lithuania, France, Ireland and Ukraine.
